Introducing the Caller.ee Public Beta: Free AI Call Analysis for Contact Centers
Today we are opening the Caller.ee public beta. Anyone can create an account, upload real call recordings, and get transcribed, scored, searchable calls — on a free tier that is live right now, no credit card, no sales call, no "book a demo" wall.
We built Caller.ee for the people who actually run contact centers: COOs, operations managers, and QA leads who know their teams are only reviewing 1–2% of calls and are tired of guessing about the other 98%. If that's you, this post covers what the platform does end to end, exactly what the free tier includes, why we launched free-first, and what's coming next.
What Caller.ee Does, End to End
Caller.ee is contact center QA software that turns raw call recordings into scored, coachable insight. The workflow is deliberately simple:
1. Upload your recordings. Calls come in as audio files — from your dialer, your PBX export, wherever your recordings live today. There's nothing to install and no telephony integration required.
2. Transcription with speaker separation. Our transcription engine converts each call into a clean transcript and separates the agent from the customer — even on mono recordings where both voices sit on a single channel. Transcription supports roughly 40 languages, including Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Arabic, and — a deliberate differentiator — regional Spanish languages like Catalan, Galician, and Basque.
3. Optional PII redaction. Before anyone reviews a transcript, Caller.ee can redact personal data: names, emails, phone numbers, national IDs, IBANs, card numbers, and addresses. It's a toggle at the account level, with per-campaign overrides for teams that need different rules for different work.
4. AI call analysis against your scorecards. This is the heart of the platform. You define Analysis Templates — scorecards made of sections, where each section is a natural-language prompt with a response type (short answer, long summary, or list extraction) and a maximum score. Run a template against a call and you get an executive summary, per-section answers and scores, and an overall 0–100% quality score.
You don't have to start from a blank page: eight built-in presets cover Customer Support, Sales Discovery, Technical Support, Cold Calling, Real Estate Qualification, Job Interview Screening, Appointment Setting, and Customer Retention.
5. Grounding in your own materials. Templates can be connected to uploaded Knowledge Bases — your scripts, policies, and FAQs. The AI then checks agents against your actual playbook, not a generic idea of what a good call sounds like.
6. Analytics that tell you where to act. Every scored call feeds dashboards: average score, fail rate (the share of calls below 70), score distribution, score over time, weakest criteria ranked worst-first, agents to coach, campaign performance, lowest-scoring calls, handle time, and call volume — with CSV export when you need the raw numbers. All transcripts are semantically searchable, so "find calls where the customer threatened to cancel" is a search, not an afternoon of listening.
The platform mirrors how BPOs and multi-client operations actually work: Clients contain Services (Inbound, Outbound, or Omnichannel), Services contain Campaigns, and an agent registry tracks per-agent performance across all of it.
What's in the Free Tier
The free tier is a real working tier, not a teaser. Every month you get:
- 45 minutes of free call transcription
- 30 calls uploaded
- 15 analysis runs against your templates
- 250 MB of storage
- 10 Analysis Templates
That's enough to run a genuine pilot: pick one campaign, upload a batch of representative calls, build or adapt a scorecard, and see scored results against your own script within an hour.
Why We Launched Free-First
Most software in this category is sold the old way: a demo with cherry-picked recordings, a quarter-long procurement cycle, and an annual contract signed before your team has scored a single one of your calls.
We think call analysis is exactly the kind of product you should judge on your own audio. Accents, cross-talk, mono recordings, regional languages, industry jargon — the only test that matters is your calls, your scorecard, your agents. A free tier makes that test cost nothing but an afternoon.
Free-first also keeps us honest. We're in public beta, and the fastest way to harden a product is to put it in front of operators who will push it with messy, real-world audio and tell us bluntly where it falls short.
One more thing worth saying plainly, because for European operators it's often the first question: the entire pipeline — transcription, voice intelligence, analysis, embeddings, and storage — runs on European infrastructure that we operate ourselves. Your audio never leaves the EU. Combined with PII redaction, strict tenant isolation, and self-service data export and account deletion, that makes the GDPR conversation with your DPO considerably shorter.
What Beta Users Get
Joining during the beta comes with advantages that won't exist forever:
- A direct line to the founders. Feedback goes to the people building the product, not a ticket queue. Report an issue or request a capability and you'll hear back from someone who can actually change the roadmap.
- Influence on that roadmap. We're prioritizing based on what beta users need. The teams using Caller.ee now are effectively deciding what we build next.
- Generous limits on request. If the free tier is too small for your pilot — you want to score 300 calls, not 30 — email info@sumgrey.com and we'll raise your limits. We'd rather you test properly than test carefully.
In exchange, we ask for honesty: tell us what's confusing, what's missing, and where the analysis got a call wrong. Beta means the product is genuinely useful today and visibly improving week over week — and it means you'll occasionally find a rough edge before we do.
What's Coming Next
Paid tiers are announced and coming soon: Pro at €49/month and Enterprise from €199/month, with higher limits for teams running QA at production volume. Until they launch, the free tier plus limit increases by email is how everyone runs.
On the product side, the near-term roadmap is focused on going deeper on analytics — more ways to slice quality data by client, campaign, and agent, and better tooling for the weekly coaching workflow that scored calls make possible. Beta feedback will shape the order.
Try It on Your Own Calls
The public beta is open now. Create a free account at https://app.caller.ee, upload a handful of recordings, pick a preset scorecard or build your own, and see your first scored calls today — 45 transcription minutes, 30 calls, and 15 analysis runs per month, free. If you need more room to evaluate, email info@sumgrey.com and we'll open it up. We're building this with you, and we'd love to know what you think.
